Photo Director Pro™ Uses Special Image Upload Technology Developed By and Unique To Photo Director Pro™
The Photo Director Pro™ Image Upload Wizard has been developed to allow you to upload images one at a time for the following reasons:
- The system maintains your Image Numbers that have been applied by you or your digital camera - terribly important for finding online orders for filed images.
- Exif data is extracted from the image during upload, so you and your customers can search by Camera, Date and Time shot and so on.
- The order of display will be controlled by the order in which you upload although this order can be manipulated by later.
- During the upload process the Photo Director Pro™ Image Upload Wizard creates a "thumbnail" and a large screen size version of your image and prepares it for quick loading and Internet presentation.
- If you opt for our "generic" copyright watermark overlay on your images, then this is applied during uploading.
- No special controls or other dangerous software need to be installed or loaded onto your workstation or computer.
- Our system works just as easily with either a Windows or Mac system.
Mass or bulk uploading of images as some software packages require you to do, means that none of the clever advantages outlined above can be achieved.
It should always be remembered that the critical path or limiting factor in image uplaods will be your Internet upload speed so uploading one image at a time will not necessarily be slower than a bulk upload.
Also, remember that an unskilled junior can upload images prepared as we recommend while you're out earning more revenue by shooting events.
